By calling them TBITB, I mean no disrespect at all to their status as grown up men or their skills as musicians. . . I never considered that it might be taken as belittling. :dontgetit:

And I don't think they would. Context counts for a lot, and YOUR context is particularly clear! :D

Heh heh heh

Billboard has posted this week's charts... Poodle Hat dropped to #42.

The funny thing is #43... Eminem's "The Eminem Show."

Dr. Mom -- uh ... I mean ... wait, uh ... ah ... oh, blarg ....

Okay, we won't make you get in touch with your feminine side to quite that degree. I was just thinking of myself & the immediate previous poster, squirrelygirl, when I wrote that, and we both have the necessary chromosomal accoutrements for that appelation.

Oh, how I love using big words. :)

The upcoming tour will help a lot too. I bet there are people with tickets to his concert that don't even know he has a new album out (hard to fathom isn't ot ?)

You know, it's really not the end of the world. Just think of all the artists in the Top 10 now that are prime fodder for Al's next album of parodies... he he he he he

This is what I hate about the soundscan system of compiling charts. I liked it so much more back in the day when albums spent a few weeks going UP the charts, peaked somewhere, then went down. Everyone who knew they wanted Poodle Hat, got it immediately. There's no drama left.

Well considering Vh1 overplays even the stupidest of TV specials over and over................plus they can fit it in their schedule. THAT will help sales.

ONE good thing about the shorter time of.....UGH...."Weird Al TV"
Work, is play. Tofutti break today.

I have a feeling there is a video, and it will show up on "Weird Al TV" (Oh, that does sound wrong) But that could just be wishful thinking :(

I hope they do put it in heavy rotation. I remember Al's "Driven" was shown once or twice, then never again. Guess they didn't consider it very exciting :sleepy:
