"Nigel Planter and the Chamber Pot of Secrets" is encoded:

You'll need DivX, of course.

Overall, I thought it was a good episode. It was definitely funnier than "Toadblatt's School of Sorcery," probably because this time they didn't feel compelled to follow the "Harry Potter" storyline so closely.

It's nice to see the Squid Hat return, of course. Hopefully if there's another sequel, the character will become a more integral part of the plot.

Most likely, if there's a sequel, it will be a parody of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (This one was a parody of Chamber of Secrets of course), and the sorting hat (which is what the Squid Hat's a parody of) doesn't even get a part in that one. But hey, they have the squid hat teaching classes, so...it could happen.

I personally hope that they do a parody of every book. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan.

By the way, this one actually followed the storyline more closely than the first episode--this one was a direct parody of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".

Exactly. I wouldn't care if they had to find a convoluted way to wedge the character in somewhere.

See, I wouldn't call it a direct parody in the sense of content. Of course it's based on the second book/movie, but the episode only really loosely followed that storyline. Numerous gags for an episode like this were probably edited out in the storyboard stage, and obviously by the middle of the episode it was clear they were going for more of a "general Harry Potter" parody.

In "Toadblatt's..." I really got the sense that they were trying to parody the key scenes in the first story. I didn't get that sense here.

I just downloaded and watched both episodes. I'd never seen the show before and didn't know what to expect.

I really didn't think much of the first episode. It was, on the whole, stupid and not all that funny. That's merely my opinion.

However, the second show, to my surprise, was of much higher quality. It was, of course, still pretty stupid but it was actually humorous this time, and the writing of the dialogue and the general plotline was noticeably better.

I'm not sure what the show is typically like; I don't know whether they had an off day when making the first or whether they felt inspired when creating the second, but there was a definite contrast in quality.
