Is there really any difference between BF5 and his solo stuff other than the fact that that trio just happened to have a band name?

That's been the biggest drawback to Al and his band getting along nicely for the last 25+ years; we can't all shell out hundreds of dollars for "THE REUNION TOUR!"

As it is, every tour is a reunion tour, because every tour they bring Ruben back for some reason.

Sorry for the double post, but it has been four days.

Anyway, Ben Folds makes it back in here again by being SPIN magazine's Artist of the Day!

Ben Folds and Regina Spektor on Conan O'Brien, skip until after the second to last commercial break.

The background gag had me fooled for about half a second until I realized it was on purpose. I just loooove Ben (and it's all Al's fault, of course) and his sense of humor.

Edit: because NBC usually takes down the YouTube videos right away, for the non-US people I've uploaded the video here.

Oh, and the guy in the background is actually Floyd from 30 Rock. I thought his face was familiar!

He's also from SNL. His name is Jason Sudeikis. He's the "trombone player". There are two pics up on Ben's myspace. One with an index card, with the gag all written out, and another is a picture of Ben and Regina. Nice fillings, Ben. That performance was so funny! The unbelieveable amount of "spit" coming out of the spit valve was hilarious. I have that performance on a high quality avi file. Just lovely.

Oh, and just in case you missed Alice Cooper on Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson:

Vengeance is Mine

Jason was on SNL last night as Joe Biden in the *brilliant* VP debate skit. He held his own against the even more brilliant Queen Latifah as Gwen Ifill and Tina Fey as Sarah Palin (I've never seen a candidate better suited for an already existing comedian).
