No. Look:
You're a newbie. It says so right below your name. That's all Grom was referring to. It's probably not the smartest idea to storm into a forum and tell members who have been here for years to "shut up."

Also, notice how I joined before you were a fan. Seriously, you need to calm down, guy. Nobody appreciates quadruple posting, and nobody appreciates your rude attitude.

Okay. I am very sorry. I tend to be a little fired up on these forums and let my ignorance show through. Sorry. I disgraced you and everyone else on this thread and most of all I disgraced Al, the reason we're all on here in the first place. Sorry.

Nah, you've only disgraced yourself.

Very true. I'm sorry, me. If I could I would just delete all the posts I put on this threat.

No one in my school really knows much about Alfred. And the ones that do refer to him as simply Weird Al. So I've never really heard anyone spell or pronounce his name wrong, but I can assure you if I did, I would probably correct them. I guess pronouncing his name wrong is reasonable, but SPELLING it wrong is not, especially if you KNOW how to pronounce his name.

I know how that goes...I once heard a girl I know refer to him as "Weird Al...YOCK...o-vitch?" or something along those lines...I of course corrected her...another girl did pronounce it right as she introduced me preforming "Couch Potato" in a talent show...so that was nice...although, something has been troubling me for quite a while now...clearly, none of my "friends" know as much about Al as I do...they only refer to him simply as "Weird Al" whenever he comes in to conversation...and its' usually only the teachers that even attempt the last name and usually end up saying "Yanko-vitch" while claiming their "kids love him"...the older crowd obviously knows more about his body of work than the younger crowd...I'm always afraid the younger crowd is always confusing him with at least one of his MANY hack imitators (like Bob Rivers or anyone else misattributed to Al on Limewire) obviously, they really aren't as...shall we say "high minded"...as our pal Alfred...but they all know what a huge, obsessive, unapologetic fan of his I am...and if they can't tell which one is real then I must look like a colossal douche...it's also frustrating trying to convine some people that he does write his own original songs and doesn't "just make fun of smurf"...but listen to me rambling on...sorry, I'm sure most of this goes in another topic, but I just had to get that off my chest...

I once held a water gun to someone's head until they could pronounce Al's name right.
Please help me.

I think I find "Yankovich" so annoying because...well...it just doesn't sound right. What would you prefer out of these:
A. Al Yankovich
B. Al Yankovicheezy
C. Al Yankovic
D. Al Jankovic
E. Al Djvankowich
F. Weird Al
If you answered C or F, congratulations! YOU

can pronounce things right.
If you answered A or D, you're just stupid.
If you answered B or E, that proves you have NO education at all.
