I think it's because Al is smart enough to know not to include anything from that horrible show and just leave it burried in the past and stick to ALTV and UHF. Sorry but I really hate that show. ;)

Sorry to say, seth, but TWAS will not be "buried in the past."
It lives on.
The complete show is out on DVD as you must be aware.
Al doesn't want to bury the show, either.
It wasn't a horrible show, it just wasn't as good as Al wanted it to be because of "the man."
Al even included many clips from the show on the Ultimate Video Collection, but probably because TWAS DVD set was already in production.
And I have seen a few clips of TWAS in the concert. Not ones that are obvious, but things like Stupid Haircut, etc.

Really, TWAS was not all that horrible. I really like it, and am glad I have the DVDs.

I got this the day it came out, watched it once, and pretty much forgot about it for a few months. A few days ago I popped it in and watched the whole entire thing again and although it wasn't as funny as it could have been if Al had been allowed to do it all his way, there are still some pretty hilarious parts. Especially love Fred Huggins, but then, who doesn't? ;)

I've never seen the show but I saw a clip on You Tube when Gilbert Godfrey is on and Al insists that he is imaginary. And Gilbert Spazzes I'm Real!

I think the show was a mixed bag. There were some really funny parts, like Fred Huggins and the Education-Al Videos, but a lot of these were watered down. Other parts were pure garbage, like when the skew the episode to be educational and Al comes out a jerk. But for those very funny clips, I think they deserve to stand alongside UHF and ALTV.

Outside of Fred Huggins, my favorite was the one batch of Home Movies on the Holiday episode. Amazing Jonathon plays his uncle, and Al sets the house on fire with Sparklers. Hilarious.

The show would have been hilarous if they hadn't forced Al to make it preachy and educational. Still, you can't beat Gilbert Gottfried screaming "That's my name. My name is Gilbert!".

He came off as a jerk in like every episode. Which I kinda thought was hilarious, but, I still wish they didn't have to re-enforce the educational aspect of it. But there were quite a bit of good things about it, like you said.

Fred Huggins to me was the best part of the show
" Oh ow! You're hurting my little wristy. Help me papa Boolie!! "

Though come on people you gotta love the Emo Philips cameo. His kind of comedy is quite unique I'd say.

And yes I do own the dvd :D
