Since I was on the side where Jim was, I did not get a good view of Steve and Ruben but I love how when I was able to look over at them during Craigslist that they both were playing the keyboard together. I thought that was quite funny. Is that something the Doors did or is there just so much keyboard in that song they need 2 people?

And I was suprised at how fast Al came zomming out on that segway. He has gotten really good at that. Has he ever fallen off of it onstage

I asked Ruben about that one time and he said they play two different keyboard parts.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

The Doors didn't have a bassist, and so their keyboardist played the bass parts on a synthesizer. I imagine Steve plays synth bass on that song in order to give it a more authentic Doors sound. Meanwhile Ruben's probably playing all the organ parts.

Kind of ticked about this myself. Bought through weirdal.com and we were in row E. Did get closer to the aisle, but not at the very end. At least this time, my son and daughter had kids sitting in front of them, so we could see the stage. Unlike Columbus last year where we couldn't see anything from where we were.

Overall, this was my favorite concert to date. Saw him in Columbus back in 1992, then Dayton in 2008 and Columbus last summer. Last year I took my son and this year both my son, daughter and good friend of ours. Kids are 8 and 11 but HUGE fans and had a blast. Poor daughter didn't get the whole "Now the Hermaphrodites!" cue in Yoda, she just kept singing as loud as she could.

We got spoiled last year with a great meet-n-greet, so the kids (ok, me, too!) were disappointed that he didn't sign. We met another friend of my son's there, so we had all 3 kids close to the tour bus entrance when they came out and told us he wasn't going to sign. I have a feeling he didn't because there were a million people lined up after the show. There's no way he would have signed for everybody.

Can't wait for the next tour. We've decided we'll go see him every chance we get. Best show int the world. :)

Yes it is! I was so excited when I was in line after he show thinking there was a meet n greet but I was bot too disappointed when there was not one since he had to work on the PTW video and I had never actually had a real convo with him. Unless you count me standing there frozen with him behind the fence. I still kick myself for not saying anything or asking for an autograph right then. :killed: :lame:

And I love how this concert was almost exactly 11 years after I went to my first Al concert!

My family went there. It was fun! my little brother happened to be wearing his Canada shirt that day. We all have Canada shirts, because my dad is from Canada. This was my first Al concert, and I really wish there was a meet and greet or whatever.
No one in the world ever gets what they want and the truth is we don't know anything.
