That's a bit harsh, keep in mind our hero just recently did a "Doors" parody. I'm with ya on relevancy, but sometimes if a songs really well known and has stood the test of time, parodying it is okay. But I do agree with the premise of quality over quantity. Keep up the good work Abbott.TMBJon wrote:What percent of Weird Abbott parodies include the word "butt" in the lyrics? Seems sort of odd...
At any rate, congratulations on having your finger on the pulse of pop culture here with this parody of a ten year old song about a 70 year old dance.
Of course, I completely agree with this. Yet we are talking about Limp Bizkit's "Rollin'."Bobio wrote:sometimes if a songs really well known and has stood the test of time, parodying it is okay.
Thing is, the Doors parody of which you speak is a style-parody. Not only that, but the Doors is an extraordinarily huge band that still has fans today.Bobio wrote:That's a bit harsh, keep in mind our hero just recently did a "Doors" parody.
