Alright, so here's my story...

From 5:30 to 9, I was at a show that I preformed in, so sadly, I could not get there very early. (Would've sucked if it was standing room only.) Well, after a few minutes drive from the show, we got to Pier 6, however, we ended up spending another hour until we found parking... Sadly enough, it was pretty much THE closest parking spot in THE closest garage, so we were pretty much as close as you could be without parking on the street. The ironic thing is, the garage was right there next to Pier 6 the whole time, so we spent that whole hour pretty much traveling in circles, and ending up exactly where we started...

Anyway, after we were parked, we had to run as fast we could. Even from hundreds of feet away, I could still hear Al preforming 'Driv Thru' in the medley. So we ended up getting there about half way through the show. Which was pretty good from what just happened. Anyway, the show was great, the seats, which I won in a contest on youtube for free, were front row, center. Which was pretty great.

After the show, all the contest winners, (There was another give away on a local radio station) all went around the side and waited behind all of the people who had real passes... But Jason, a very nice man who helped with the contest winners the whole night, just pushed us up to the very front of the line. So we all went in, got pictures and autographs, the average meet 'n greet stuff. Then afterwards, we waited right outside Al's bus, we saw Steve just siting there inside, when he looked out the window, he saw us and came out of the bus. We talked to him and I got another autograph and picture. Jim, Ruben, and Bermuda didn't sign autographs or anything, actually, Bermuda didn't come out of the bus at all. But we still got distant shots of Jim and Ruben.

We finally made it back home around 1.

Also... We snapped around 250 pictures. But I'll just show the best of the pictures.

I love those pictures. I can't wait for my show. Only a little more than two weeks.

SpiderAl, I thought you looked a tad familiar. I remember meeting you last year at Rams Head. And I was curious why you came in so late, you seemed to be very into Al, so I couldn't figure out why you weren't there at the beginning. I got a kick out of watching you during Albuquerque!

Also the pic of Al throwing the water, yeah, never cheer when he does that. I got a mouthful. It was salty. I know, Al Gals are jealous now.

hehe, SpiderAl, you did what I did last year. Coming in late, that is. I got to my show around Pentiums time. Of course, I was late because my friend Kari thought the show started at 8 pm. It didn't. Anyway, glad you had fun, got free front row seats *for winning that contest with your great video*, and got to meet Al! Great pics, btw.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

This was a REALLY fun show! I have some pics in the Drool Topic.

My dad and I didn't think that Jim and Ruben looked very happy. Did any of you notice that? We think that maybe there was some kind of argument backstage.

Otherwise, I had a great view, and took some video that will be on Youtube later today, or possibly tommorrow.

Unfortunatly, I didn't get to help James with the video project. We were planning to meet at 1:30, but my dad and I didn't get there until 2:00. My dad also said that that was too early to meet up, so he didn't take me to the gates until a lot later, like after we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. So then we went to the gates and I couldn't find James and his friends, so my dad and I went up to this lighthouse thingy and just sat there in the shade watching for them and also watching the soundcheck. Then it was 5:30 and we went to our seats and saw Jeremy. I talked to Jeremy for a bit, while Spaceballs was playing on the screen. About 2 hours later, I finally saw James and his friends come to their seats and I gave them all the lettered signs. My dad and I switched places with 4 people so the 8 of us could sit together. We decided to hold up the signs for Canadian Idiot, I'll Sue Ya, and SLN. I also had my own personal sign that said, "We <3 you Weird Al! Rock On!" I held that up during WBUL, so he would notice me and hopefully sing to me. He didn't. :( Ah well, I got some video of it. When Al first came out for Polkarama, I almost had a heart attack! I'm currently uploading that video to YT, so if you watch it, you may want to turn down the volume to a low level. My screams are VERY LOUD!!!!

There were two negative things besides the whole video project thing:

-On the way to Baltimore, we wittnessed a car crash. It was a person we know. Don't worry, she is fine. I'm just glad she was okay and that she didn't hit another car. I was so scared because her car was swerving. She said there was something wrong with a tire. Thank God she got out of her car okay.

-There was no meet and greet!

Ah well, I still had a grand old time at the show!

Aw, sorry--I thought a friend was going to attend, so I had e-mailed the venue to clarify the actual start time of the concert because they didn't say so on the website, and they told me it was generally one hour after the doors open. This word "generally"--I do not think it means what you think it means, Pier 6 people!

Glad you all had such great experiences, and those photos are awesome, SpiderAl!

I actually think Ruben looked very happy during a lot of the songs. Jim looked ok too. Something happened with his guitar strap during Albuquerque so he got a weird look on his face, but other than that I didnt really notice anything wrong with him either.
