I took the bus and train in again.  Jackie picked me up at the train station.  Then we met Adrian and Anne, flipped a coin, and went to dinner at T.G.I.F.'s.

We had great seats!
Then, on the ride home, every road in Long Island had construction on it, so it took way too long to get home.

I hate when I see flashes go off in a place like that... don't they know the flash isn't going to help them? It's only capable of throwing the light about 10ft, not to mention how annoying it is to others. Some people claim "I just took one- I thought I turned the flash off!". My rule: If you want to make sure the flash is off, turn the camera toward your face at about arms length... and take a picture.

El, great pics! I need an Al hug picture this time. I'll ask my friend Annette to take one. I love Al's smile in the other picture. Gosh, he's just so cute!

Rachael, wonderful picture with Al! Nice to hear from you! Looking forward to seeing more pictures.

4 more days!!

Sorry I didn't say this before, I had a very busy weekend. I wanted to say thank you guys so much for your help with Melodie's car. It's her mother's car and she didn't know that you have to turn everything off (air conditioner and radio) before you turn the car off. We took the car to Great Adventure on Saturday and all was fine.

I had a great time at the show. We had 2nd row seats in section A. Whoever said that there are no bad seats at Westbury neglected to mention that there are also no good seats either. We were very close, but half the show you see the back of the guys. I totally learned my lesson last year what sections NOT to sit in. The seat in front of me was empty for half the show, which was awesome. The seats behind us were also empty. Blaine took some pictures, but a few songs in someone came and said something to him which he didn't hear, so he stopped taking pictures. It turns out he was told not to take video, which he wasn't doing anyway. In a way I'm sorry that I didn't take pictures, but I'm glad I got to enjoy the show without my camera in front of my face.

I have nothing new to add about the show itself. We thought the storm trooper on the end to the left was absolutely hysterical.

After the show, we waited by the busses to see Al, and I took my glasses off so I wouldn't forget for a picture. I tend to go blank and forget everything when it's my turn. LOL When it was my turn with Al, he didn't recognize me because I didn't have them on. I was a little embarassed. This was my only show for the year and it was a great night, even with the car trouble and traffic on the LIE. Thank goodness for GPS.
