I can't believe this.

My condolences to the Yankovics. RIP Bela.

Lovely tribute. I'd forgotten Bela's featured so prominately in the Jessica Simpson interview. It'll add a dimension of sadness for those (in the know) attending upcoming live shows.
Oh, no! I didn't think of that. That will be hard to watch. Even though Al and the band can't really hear the audio, they can still see the screens. ...Unless they decide to skip that segment?

Nice pics, fred! Thanks for sharing.
Normally, dogs look like their owners, but after looking at fred's pics, it strikes as to how much Bela looked like Jim.

Maybe Al could replace "Fun Zone" with a Bela tribute.

No. Al's shows are about fun and entertainment. Bringing the passing of a pet (or anyone else) into it is NOT something Al does.

If they change anything, it will probably be removing the parts with Bela in it- not adding.

Well, in the April 2004-later shows in the Poodle Hat tour, he did have Fun Zone taken out and had a memory to his parents. I could have definitely seen the same thing done for Bela, although, I guess it wasn't.
I know how it feels to lose a pet. My dog was a year older than Bela when it died, 13. I'll always remember her when watching that Animal Planet special, Al-TV spots, listening to Poodle Hat, etc,. I'll also remember how genuinely happy Al appeared when I gave him the stained-glass painting of Bela in Raleigh. Bela will definitely never be forgotten.

Al put up a screen dedicating his performance to his parents. I think he'll be able to soldier on after Bela's passing.

Thanks for that lovely tribute, FredHuggins. Very well done.
Fred, those pictures are very nice. Thanks for sharing them.
Bela, you are gone, but certainly not forgotten.
