Well, I don't know about that. Maybe "Best Spoiler" would go to me, but I don't think I would or should get any of the others. I only found that one REALLY GOOD spoiler. There were other people who found a lot of other great spoilers, including whoever it was that found out about "I'll Sue Ya" so early on. As for "Best Spoiler Topic," there were loads of really fun topics long before the tracklist was found out.

In particular, I really enjoyed the speculation surrounding "Don't Download This Song," and the debate over whether or not it really was a "We Are the World" parody.

Well Jeremy, I'd certainly like to help you out with those topics. I really like helping people, especially on this board. You could say I deserve to be nominated for an award for helping people.

Okay, so I topic I created ("Make A Wish, Have It Corrupted - Weird Al Edition") has been nominated - or, "seconded," at least - for Best Topic. On top of this, there's a ceremony at which these awards take place?

Being a newbie, having only joined in late October, and having little knowledge of these awards, what does this mean for me? If my topic wins, do I get an award or something? Where does the ceremony take place, and when? How are winners decided?

The ceremony just takes place on the board, and if you win it means you have created a great topic. (Actually, if you're nominated, that probably means you've created a great topic.) I don't know if you actually get anything, except maybe the ability to gloat about your victory.... Hope that helps a little.

The chance to gloat is always good. You also get your awards noted in your (whatever the text under your avie is called.) Dave also made some groovy award graphics one time. I don't know if we still have those.
