If so, let's hope VH1 is better at managing time when it comes to award shows than ABC was. Otherwise Al will be singing the closing credits.

Well, true...but c'mon, the "Ending Credits Polka" could be awesome!

Don't forget! This is the last big push before the Big in '06 awards, so it's up to us to be CERTAIN Al is the winner.
Dont' wait until the last minute since we don't know the exact time of the deadline.
Vote early, vote often and vote a shameless number of times.
This is for Al, and we can't let him down!!!

I'll go and vote, but I think it would be even easier if people went directly to the voting page, here.
Vote often!

Voting's closed as of now. I don't know how long it's been since they stopped accepting votes, but you can't vote anymore.

Let's just hope Al is the winner!!

Wow, glad I voted when I did rather than wait until I got home. I think I voted at least 450 times just today. I used the computer mouse so much, my forearm is twitching like crazy.

For those worried that the whole "special guest appearance by" thing was another sign of Al getting the short end of the award show stick, this week's top 20 countdown showed an interview with Al during rehearsels.
(No they didn't show the rehearsels....just Al taking a break during rehearsels

)

Yeah, I've been so impressed how much VH1 has been behind Al. It seems like they really do support him. I absolutely loved that interview on the countdown, that really surprised me. It also revealed that they may have changed the whole White & Nerdy performance thing. It may turn out to make the performance better for the song, we'll have to see.

I missed the interview but it was good to see the Big In 06' mention "Special Appearance By Weird Al". Does anyone know when the countdown for this week will come back on?
