Correct me if I am wrong but I thought he recorded two songs in April so I would guess this newly available song has been taken off of the track list. On the recording archives area on the Mothership there is now only one song recorded in April. Since at one time there were 11 songs: 6 originals, three parodies recorded in Feb 06 and the two in April it seems there is now one song missing. This is just speculation of course as I have the same info as other fans.

[MOD Edit: I know your intentions are good, and I know you are a newbie, so I'll cut you some slack. We don't allow file trading here. I know it's a slow or impossible download at WeirdAl.com, but people will just have to wait until they can get it. Or, you know... don't TELL us here that you are trading the file.]

It's possible that one of the reasons Al gave us the download is to somehow track the hits to show the Suits that he still has drawing power. If we bypass his website, there's no way to track the hits.

Just a thought.

Holy Flip-Flops, Batman!

This song is AMAZING! I was waiting and waiting and when I finally got it--- I DIED LAUGHING!

Wow--- mad props to the guys for this music! It's AMAZING!

Ohhh man, there is nothing to describe that feeling of getting a brand new Al song! Flying? Maybe. Butterflies? Could be. Eating the contents of a halloween glo-stik? Nope.

This is something totally flippin cool!

I thought it was a hilarious descrip for the Genre. I opened it in iTunes and was like "What the----?? POWER BALLAD?"

I think the fact that it's not a power ballad--- makes it even funnier!

World peace? At least, that's what a new Al song feels like to me. :inlove:

Unless it's a power trip ballad.

On ITunes, I never list my Al songs as "comedy". I always list them as the genre they are (IE SLN is alternative/punk, Couch Potato is hip hop, Isle Thing's old school hip hop)

I wouldn't have thought of classifying the song as Power Ballad immediatly, but I'll take it :D

(By the way, instead of spoiler and locking it, why not just move into the regular Music & Record forum and make it the official You're Pitiful topic? :) )
