Yes, Shout! Factory is awesome when it comes to TV on DVD (I'm anticipating some other titles of theirs this year also, including the Inspector Gadget DVD set as mentioned below) so let's hope there's some cool stuff on there (IE COMMENTARY , behind the scenes stuff, et cetera).

I knew Shout! was gonna be the ones who came through for us on this one!

Woo hoo! I pretty much gave up on this ever happening a looong time ago, but it's finally happening!

Being the hooligan that I am, I did download the episodes a couple years ago. But there's nothing like the smell of fresh commentary with Al in the morning.

It's not technically hooliganism until the DVD comes out later this year, I suppose, as you couldn't see any of the 13 episodes after 1998.

You know this means it is an album year. Think about it. Last album UVC. Before that. WAYL. This year. THE WEIRD AL SHOW!!!

If anyone wants to, I imagine sending thanks to Shout! Factory ([email protected]) for agreeing to release the show would be in order.

If nothing else, it will hopefully show them that there is enough interest in this set to warrant creating special features for it.

I will definitely do that. They deserve our thanks. Plus, maybe if they get enough appreciation, they'll put out some other Al releases.
