You make a good point, OE. It may very well be in Al's contract that he do half parodies, half originals and a polka medley. I also agree that that is what sells, because people expect it. I'm looking forward to the next cd. Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

But, if we're talking about the music, yes, thankfully, Al writes mostly funny songs, not serious - leave them on Eurythmics.
But there's one kind of music that Al didn't do, and that would be a certain amazement for us - funny instrumentals. Think about it.
Least favorite thing about Al? Mmm... Spelling his name.

"Synonym" is an anthonym for "homonym".

Not really a least favorite thing as much as a slight dissapointment.
I wish Al would do more TV spots. I mean, I watch I Love the 80's just for Al (and Hal Sparks. I'm not gonna lie to you)
I can't count how many times I'm watching a clip show and thinking "Wow, what would Al say about that?"

Why does Al resemble Ted Kazensky? Because he's the bomb! Shine!

I've actually grown to like it now, I guess it just had to grow on me. but as for anything else, I have to admit with a lot of other people about him giving "stupid, flip answers" to questions on the ASK AL, because some of the questions I read in the archives that he gives a flip response could have been really good, if only the person asking had put it in correct context or he answered it like he knew the asker meant ot say it, not how it sounds literally. However, some of the really stupid questions he gives flip answers to are funny to read.twinkieweinersandwiches24_7 @ Apr 8 2005, 02:01 PM wrote: As for me, I must admit I really don't like "I Think I'm a Clone Now".

I don't like how he's so stingy about releasing his unreleased songs!
