That's a good starter kit. I have friends who don't mind at all being dragged along to random things. :)

for my bday, i got PH tickets and my bro-in-law prank called me saying "Kari? Your friend told my friend to tell me to call you." and i said "Who's this?" and he said "It's Al Yankovich!!!" and then I said "No it's not" And he said "what? you don't believe me?" and i said "Well, you pronounced his last name wrong..."

That's a WAY Moby gift, Allison.

My friends or family would never try to pretend to be Al to call me. They probably know that I could tell what Al's voice sounds like, though it would probably sound a bit different over the phone. Plus, none of my friends could pass off trying to be Al.

Wow! The rare hand-drawn cover? Niiiiice! ;)

Seriously, that is very cool. And congratulations!

WAY gifts I've gotten? Let's see... A 45 of Eat It. That's pretty groovy, but what I really like is that it has That Boy Could Dance on the B side.

Then I got a cassette single of Smells Like Nirvana, and a VHS Compleat Al.

I got a Spatula for Christmas, as well as a hand made book of reasons to love Al.

Oh, then there's the copy of some of Al's Much Music stuff, some old ALTVs, BTM, and of course I have several CDs of rarities. :choon:

And let's not forget the Al cookie and Chocolate Peanut Butter Al head. :whoot:

And my most recent addition is an Al Gal necklace...

I've bought all the Al stuff I own except for that OMM scarf (which is the 2nd Al thing I got -- the first being being a ticket to his concert) :inlove:
This means something. This is important.

I've bought some of the Al stuff I own, but most was given as gifts, and my mom has bought me all my concert tickets!

That's cool, Alinite! I've never had anyone buy me a concert ticket, but I did buy one for my friend Dawn. That was the concert we were in the front row for! It was a sort of belated birthday present for her. She had a good time, as did our whole group!

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Wow, Patti, I'm sure you all did have a great time! I love front row shows, I've had those experiences three times!

And birthday shows, even if they are just birthday present shows, are always special too!
