Kevbo's probably helping me in my act... is there any way I could have three guys in suits lipping the background vocals to OMM?

Well, I got Mongo/ Ed/ whoever does it down...I need Jim Steve and Bermuda... and no one really cares about Ruben. :P j/k

I'll sing SYBG. I'm good at harmonies!

Yes I'm a girl. I realize that's a problem. But I can make myself sing like a guy...

Ok, I'm working on it...

But I hope to perform in some way, shape, or form at the next AlCon!

Or at least to be there...

I'll use Al as an excuse to miss school..

I had pneumoniAL..

SO THERE!! :P

ttyl all!

If I can go, 3yk, I may be able to sing the lead vocal, but I doubt I'll be able to get there.

So, how much experience do both of you have?

We could make this a group effort, like when we were back in high school; learning parts and sounding phenominAL in the process.

The only problem is that we won't be able to have much time to rehearse beforehand.

I'f I ever get the chance to go to Alcon, and participated in the actuall preforming, Id have to karaoke to Wanna B Ur Lovr. Though, I think I'd have some trouble singing the really high part on the end. I can only pull it off every once in a while, but I usually end with a soar neck.

If you can find me sheet music, I can pick it up. I'm in my 7th year of chorus, I think I can do it. I hope. I do have pretty good pitch and I am in band as well. So let me know.

My friend Tressa who I am slowly getting hooked on Al made up a hilarious dance to AORTB...so who knows? We might end up doing that! (She wants to go to AlCon as do I) But not if I'm doing SYBG...I'd rather do that...not being able to play accordion and all...

SYBG is on the "Weird Al" Yankovic Anthology. My friend has it, and maybe....um...I don't know.

I'm starting to get worried about Alcon 2K4. It's getting close to the 2 year mark and we haven't heard a peep from Amanda. Maybe I'm getting too worried this early. It's just that, where else other than a concert can you really connect with other Al fans? At Alcon III, I start to sing an AL song, and others would join me. I never felt at home the way that I felt when I was with other people that understood AL. That's my 27 cents.

This hould go in my "Alcon Performances" topic.

Let's change that to the Alcon 4 Central Topic...

Good idea Eric. I merged yours and that one with another topic I found on the subject.

To answer your concerns, I don't think there will be an ALCON in 2004. The fact that previous ones were at two year intervals was really just a coincidence, and there was never a promise of one every two years, or even of a fourth one at all. If Amanda has another one, it will be at a time it best works for her.

On a smaller scale, there's the monthly Meetup Day if any city ever gets more than 4 people to sign up. Details at the Meetup Day topic. Or you can organize your own gettogether, or just make it a point to get together with other Al fans now and then like I do.
