Don't be so sure...

The earliest mention I could find of it WAS before I was a member, and it was in the Ask Bermuda section.

Bermuda doesn't mention Dick's Automotive as being the inspiration.

Have you actually listened to "Dick's Automotive"? It's about as close to plagerism as you can get without actually being plagerism.
