James Brown "The Godfather of Soul" passed away early Monday morning at age 73. James Brown of course did "Living In America" (for Rocky IV) which Al turned into one of my personal favorite parodies "Living With A Hernia" James Brown was also in a mock interview for an older Al-TV special. Incidently James Brown was also on Wheel Of Fortune Celebrity week with Little Richard the same week Al was on.
Really late reaction, my bad, but I didn't know he was dead! O.O A friend of mine did background vocals for Living In America. Why didn't he tell me? D:

Not really sure if it fits here, but New Kids on The Block are back together. I don't know if we'd get a new parody, but hey, it's good news.

I doubt we'll get another NKOTB parody. Al usually doesn't parody an artist more than once.

"I Think We're A Clone Now" & "Alimony" ("I Think We're Alone Now" & Mony Mony")
...even though the versions he was doing a parody of were by Billy Idol & Tiffany.

I saw Al's pal, the late, great Stanley Brock, on an episode of Quantum Leap tonight.

Al's, uh, pal, R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" is on IFC right now.
I've never really watched this much of it before. It's actually quite comical.
