We didn't get TWAS in Australia but I picked up the DVD set the day it was released here. I would certianly recommend it.
Lots of funny, classic Al stuff & 2 Al fridge magnets!
Hubby finds it amusing, kids & I love it.
Now if we could just get all the old AL-TV specials on DVD..........

I just got my DVD set Wednesday; I managed to squeeze in the first episode before I went to work and then stayed up until almost six in the morning watching the rest of them. I stayed up late again last night watching all but the last two episodes with commentary, which is just as funny as the show itself. I haven't decided which one is my favorite yet, but I do love the Fred Huggins sketches, although he creeps me out just a little bit; I was glad that Al, Peyton, and Thomas said that was intentional. The cutting room floor "Flintstones" with Al is great too; I first saw that as part of the TWS concert, as well as the "60% Chance of Rain" movie trailer parody.

its Al(l) awsome... 60% chance of rain is the best commercial on there, anybody listen to the commentary? Ya, apparently the "Head rip" is immitatable...

I was watching The Weird Al Show episode The Competition yesterday, and I started wondering: Does Uncle Ralphie have any hatred for Fred Huggins?
In The Competition, he brags about how he's going to win, and when Al calls to tell him that somebody else could win, too, Uncle Ralphie says "Oh yeah, like that loser Weird Al?" However, I wonder why he didn't name any other hosts. I would think that Weird Al is less of a loser than Fred Huggins, but Uncle Ralphie doesn't say anything about him. Of course, it's possible that he didn't know Fred Huggins was nominated, and he would have probably thought that Fred Huggins would lose. Logically, he had to talk negatively about Al because then the plot would be different.
And in Ralphies other appearance, The Obligatory Holiday Episode, at one point Ralphie says that next year he'll be at Fred Huggins holiday party. Could that mean that Uncle Ralphie doens't actually have anything against Fred Huggins (besides the fact that Fred Huggins won the award that he was nominated for)?

Oh, I'm sure it's just a healthy competitiveness.
Or at least as healthy as anything involving Fred Huggins could be.

I think you may be over-analyzing this just a
liiiiiiiiiiiitle too much.
But then again, over-analyzing is what Weird Al fans do best. Go on.
