Hey, you should go buy a choir robe and wear it to one of the concerts... wouldnt that be funny? Or maybe just a shirt with the screenshot on it.

I was thinking... We all know Al occasionally reads this forum or at leasts gets a whiff of what's going on here from a friend. How much do you think he considers what is said in this thread and others to pick out the actual setlist?

That was brilliant!

And Jon, I don't think he pays us much mind. If "Buy Me A Condo" comes up in the next setlist, however, I might change my mind. Mainly because I see it as HIGHLY unlikely he'd perform that.

I see it as being pretty unlikely too. But then again, you never know with an Al concert.

Why thank you! I don't normally do puns, but occasionally, when I think I have a good one, I will post it. 8)

I would hope it doesn't get much deeper than Al saying to himself, "Wow, a lot of fans miss that song. I'll consider it maybe."

There's no question that the interaction that Al, Jon, and the other guys offer with the fan base is rare in the music world and certainly a treat, but I think they all know that we're still just a fraction of the larger audience that will come see a show. There's a big difference between throwing in a fan-favorite oldie here and there and pandering to the die-hard fans by sculpting the bulk of the setlist for them.

I hope that didn't sound too harsh. I just think Al knows by now how to arrange the shows in order to provide a little something for everybody.

No, I'm sorry. That's not what I meant. Of course Al is setting his own setlists, but I think he's probably likely to see what people are most interested in. If there's a huge clamoring for one song, say Buy Me A Condo, I'm sure Al would consider it more than another random song from his catalog. Isn't that what makes it a fan favorite?

Yeah, Al knows how to put these shows together. He's been doing it forever. I'm sure he'll stick a couple fan-favorites in there, maybe Buy Me A Condo, which would be great to see. I never realized that there would be such a reaction to Melanie, than when he did it last tour. Al knows what fans want.

Personally, I'd love to see Good Old Days.

I think Living With A Hernia would be timely again.

Good Old Days, Why Does This Always Happen, one of the more melodic "ballad" types.
