I really don't think that's why Al released it. It was at least partly because of "Weird Al" Yankovic: The Videos going out of print. Plus, it was a good time for a release, with Al still touring for PH and all. I'm sure we'll see more videos from Al (as long as Eminem doesn't have anything to do with it).samuraisumo @ Feb 19 2005, 02:55 PM wrote: Y'all don't think that Al did this ultimate collection cause he isn't doing anymore videos, do you?
(No scare intended, but it Is called the ultimate video collection.)
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

iancook, in answer to your question, the My Bologna clip is accessed by selecting the Weird Al Show clips. But instead of just clicking on the picture, you use the up button. It's the only Easter Egg, but it's a pretty cool one, if you ask me.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!
Al Team #325

I have wondered about this myself. For PH, apparently only one video was ever planned. (Remember, for those of you playing along at home: Bob is NOT a video!) My evidence is 1) When Al didn't get to do Couch Potato, he didn't do anything else. 2) In the second chat we had with Bermuda, Jon said:samuraisumo @ Feb 19 2005, 11:55 AM wrote: Y'all don't think that Al did this ultimate collection cause he isn't doing anymore videos, do you?
<ChatMaster> CatraDhtem asks: Before the Eminem debacle, do you know if a second single was ever being considered, or were the costs of the planned "Couch Potato" video pretty much making it "the" song to push the whole album?
<Bermuda> Don't know. I think they were hoping to get that, and see what happened next
<Bermuda> There wouldn't have been a lot of time for a 2nd vid though, and with fewer outlets who run videos, I think 1 would have been sufficient anyway
Back in the day, when MTV still actually played videos, music videos were almost required if you wanted your album to be a hit. Al's career was definately helped by his videos. But with the music industry the way it is now, I'm thinking that Al may just choose not to waste time and money making any more videos. The only thing that might make it worth doing is that they can be sold on DVD. Which is obviously what I'm hoping for, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Al chose not to make any more.
