No, I really made that mistake. I'm not too familiar with either Cake or Rage. I knew that both had a style parody on SOL and if I had thought about it for an extra couple of seconds, I probably would have realized my mistake.

But yeah, I do like it.

I'm pretty sure that unspellable song will be in the polka. It came out too long ago for a full parody. But maybe a concert-only parody?

Unspellable song? What song is that?
"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"
"..yeah.."

I think Al should take all the rap/dance songs that were popular this past summer. That'd be pretty interesting.

Or...he can do an Alice Cooper parody...
I'M STILL WAITING FOR IT!!

Does anyone think that, if Al does not include a very long song on the next album as he has on the last three releases, maybe just maybe he will break his own unwritten rule and include 13 or 14 tracks? Or is the 12-track limit more related to the proper ratio for maximizing profits on paying royalties?

Alapalooza and BHD were both 12 tracks without an 'epic' too--but admittedly they were both in an era where cassettes still held a share in the market and you could get away with an album that lasted less than 45 minutes. There's definitely been some consistency in the number of tracks per album, but I think these days it's less of a "I need exactly a dozen songs" than "I want to have ~50 minutes of music." Remember, until Atlantic Records denied permission for "You're Pitiful," SOL was all set to be 11 tracks. That's why I've never really been too upset by that whole situation...
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

It was? What was the track he added? (White and Nerdy obviously, but the other one?)
Oh snap!
