I became a grandmother right before I turned 40 - because sometimes our children choose to emulate our mistakes rather than learn from them. Ah well...

Your story is anything but boring!!

Congratulations! Oh, and I feel about 25!

Karen, I tried to respond to your PM but your mailbox is full.

That reminds me of the old joke: Guy A: "I feel like a teenager." Guy B: "Well, I'll see if I can find you one." :F

AD27, I made room in my mailboxes just for you!

-EDIT- Well, I guess impersonating Al without realizing it is a hidden talent... I always get yelled at because I act weird, I ask what I'm doing wrong, and my mom tells me I'm acting like Al again. Or my dad tells me. Or my brother. Its kinda embarassing. xD;
they/he pronouns please !! (previously: CrazyWeirdAlLady)

Cool!
I am addicted to finding really silly names (we call it "The Fanny Game" for reasons which might be entirely lost on an American audience)
Moving swiftly on........

Don't count on it. It's awful. I call it "the only misstep in Al's long and brilliant comedy career." But it's not his fault; someone apparently thought that "The Compleat Al" would make just as good a book as a video. Wrong!

If you want to LOVE to read (and everyone should love to read), I'd suggest you pick up Spindle by Ian Taylor (I think it's the funniest book ever!) and also the first book in the Harry Potter series (but be warned; you'll want to keep going 'til you've read all 7 books in the series; it's that entertaining and well-written.)

Ludovica, elaborate...really silly names for what? If it's silly names people have, you'll love this site.

While I'm not technically a grandma, I could be if I had gotten a very early start and my offspring did too. But alas, I have no offspring, so therefore I am not nor will I become a grandma. Unless it counts that my two adopted cats had kittens ... but that's just strange. I am 48, so I can fit in the older Al fan category.

Take care, Flo-Cat :cat:
Al's is my favorite gender of music.
