Hopefully, he will be. I should also add that Poodle Hat is not far from Gold now and Alapoolza be eligible for Platinum status too. So Al may be presented with four discs! :D

That's a nice surprise to hear about how close "Alapalooza" is, and "Poodle Hat" finally going Gold will prompt a huge sigh of relief.

But still no love for "Polka Party!" though, huh? :(

Nope, I don't see Polka Party going Gold anytime soon. I'm basing my predictions on SOundscan numbers I have for all of Al's albums from March last year.

Ah well, it was just a shot.

But anyway, your estimations are from data from last March, huh? Yeah, it sounds like all of these certifications are imminent then, since one would hope SOL helped bump up the sales of the older titles a little.

Still waiting for album information to turn up on the site I check out, but W&N nudged up a little this week to #74.

Straight Outta Lynwood fell 2 places to No.163 this week. No word on sales yet but it's probably sold about 418,000 copies so far in the U.S.
