This week SOL is at #162, while W&N is at #76.
Unfortunately, it looks as if W&N has dropped off the digital charts, so it is unknown what its current sales total is. What is known, however, is that SOL has so far sold 413,175 copies in the United States.
Also, there seems to be conflicting reports about where SOL landed last week. One source (that I used last week) is saying #149, while another is now saying #151, just FYI.

I will go check the actual Billboard Magazines at my local BORDERS! I'll be right back!

Thanks for double-checking. I'm not quite sure where that first source's information came from then. When I saw the difference I had to do a double take, thinking at first maybe I skipped a week.
But, the good news is that the W&N ranking last week was still accurate, so again who knows what was going on.

The rankings changed because the chart was re-run by Soundscan. SOL should be certified Gold anytime now. Bad Hair Day is also eligible for double platinum status. Weird Al's first ever multi-platinum album!

Oh, don't tease...that one's been a long time coming.

I'm not teasing. I'm just stating a fact. I'll be surprised if Volcano does not get a double platinum cert for it.

Very cool! It would be neat if Al could be presented with his Gold record for SOL and his double platinum certification for SOL at the same time.
