World of Weird Al Yankovic

Genius in France is one of Al`s best long songs! Worst long song to me is TITDT. Then again, maybe it`s because I never heard the original.

Genius in France is OK. It is a good Frank Zappa spoof, but to me the joke starts getting pretty old about halfway into the song. As for Trapped in the Drive Thru, as I've said many times before, it is absolutely essential to listen to the original in order to appreciate the brilliance of Al's parody.

I'll put my least favorite from each album. This might help. maybe.

UHF: Attack of the Radioactive Hamsters from A Planet near Mars, and kinda Generic Blues
Off The Deep End: I Can't Watch This
Alapalooza: Young Dumb & Ugly, kinda Talk Soup, SNTMSWAM, Waffle King
Bad Hair Day: Everything You Know Is Wrong (I actually don't mind this song but I tend to skip it over other songs on the album), Syndicated Inc I like only for the accordion solo
Running With Scissors: Grapefruit Diet, maybe Germs
Poodle Hat: Trash Day, and I kinda don't like Couch Potato
Straight Outta Lynwood: Canadian Idiot, possibly Virus Alert
Alpocalypse: Craigslist (love the music, the lyrics bore me)

There's no weird al song I hate, can't say I listen to My Baby's in love with Eddie Vedder. Though it is funnier if you imagine hes singing about an actual baby.

Hearing the original is essential to understanding why that song is funny...

I don't understand the premise of listening to a Weird Al parody without being at least somewhat familiar with the source material. How hard is it to YouTube a song?
