I wonder what that means. You don't suppose it has anything to do with that avatar thing? This whole thing has really gotten terribly out of hand.

You know, that's really terrible. This thing started as a joke, and escalated into a problem on this forum that may never be fixed. It's awful. I questioned why we weren't being told, but I never expressed anger over the whole thing. I don't see why this had to turn out the way it did. PLEASE COME BACK ELVIS! I, for one, hate to ever see people leave this forum, especially for things that can easily be fixed. That's all I have to say.

I'm not happy about the way the whole thing turned out either. But I'm not going to make apologies for responding to it the way I did. We should have been informed. They should have answered our questions sooner. I didn't decide to start the whole practical joke. I really think the Mods should have excersized better judgement about the whole thing. I am a bit disappointed in the fact that they didn't.

On the other hand, I don't want Dave (or anyone else for that matter) to leave over this. It was an error in judgement, Dave, but we all make mistakes. I hold no hard feelings towards any of you guys, and I seriously hope we can just forget about this whole ordeal and just move on.

Let's please just get back to discussing Al.

:nervous: Weelll... my gut feeling is that he'll be back after a while... but he just needs a break. And he said he's going to keep moderating.

I think that like the rest of us who were in on the avatar change, he was bummed that an innocent puzzley-prank was taken in so totally the wrong way. But I don't think he should be taking the blame in any way. All of us who played the game were willing co-conspirators, because we all thought that a Good Time would be Had By All!

As I just wrote on the other board, I really hope Elvis doesn't leave. I made a couple of innocent comments that I regret nonetheless. I was just kinda worried and freaked out by the whole EA dramedy...so please reconsider...if you read this...and congrats on your award, you definetely deserve it...:biggrin:
