Jon, I never thought I'd be typing this but your posts make me want to slam my head into something repeatedly...and maybe those form a few others I won't name here.

Anyway, as much as I'd like to see a new Al concert on Comedy Central they seem a bit too edgy for Al and kind of an odd fit for him. It's a bit more likely that we'll see this aired on VH1 (after all, they did air his first Live concert special) but I'd still prefer to see it on Comedy Central. It's also great news to hear that this will be released on a DVD. Thanks, yankomaniac! Unless something totally brand new is added to the medley, they should have no problem clearing the songs. I wonder if this will be just more straight up concert footage or maybe part of a larger special.

I was pretty hungover when I talked to him, but Im pretty darn sure thats what he said. I don't remember him saying anything about it being televised, he just said "oh cool, you guys are from Canada. We are shooting a show there at Massey Hall in Toronto", but he didn't say it was in July and I remember talking of a DVD release cause it had been so long but It will all depend on how well the shows go I would think. But I don't totally recall him saying "we are shooting a DVD", but it is MORE than likely. I figured he was talking about a year from now at least, the Toronto shows were announced waaay to late, they should have been announced in like March or April IMO.
