Extremely disappointed to say that I have come back from three record stores empty handed. Two of them were not open yet as of 9am. The third one, Target, was completely incapable of understanding my request. They seemed not to know what a CD was, opting instead to call them music discs and looking puzzled when I referred to "CD." They could not figure out how to spell Weird Al, let alone Alpocalypse, and therefore could not help me find the album. I will simply have to go to Best Buy tonight after work. Lucky for me, I already downloaded the album on Amazon last night or else I'd be even more pissed right now. You'd think in LA you'd be able to buy a CD...

Amazon has mine in transit. It has been being "delivered" as of 6:20 am, but I have not received it yet. Maybe in an hour... :) I'm gonna go "WOOO WOOO!!!!" when I get it!

Found it last night at a local hipster record store that has a penchant for putting new albums out earlier than they should. :whoot:

@TMBJon: haha wow, that sucks.

@Topic: Yeah, I dropped by Best Buy this morning and had no problem locating either versions (CD or CD/DVD), so I was very excited. I listened to the first three tracks and got into "Skipper Dan" before I got home...

So when I got home I ripped the songs off the CD (which is stupid in hindsight because I already bought and downloaded that amazing Amazon deal...) and listened to a few tracks before switching over to the DVD to watch the music videos. Having said that, I honestly think that the "Party In The CIA" video is the best new one on the DVD.

I found mine very easily at FYE right after they opened this morning. They had a ton of copies, and they even had a sign outside of the store promoting the album. It was a little pricier than I would have liked ($14.99 for the deluxe version), but it was quick and convenient.

Well, mine still isn't here, but I am, in its place until it arrives, playing Accio Awesome by The 8th Horcrux!

I'll be heading to my local Best Buy in a few hours and will listen to it on the way back. When I get back here, I'll watch the videos and use our neat sound system machine device.
