Okay. Thanks.Tra la, we've got a pass of gold
I still hear "Pray there" or maybe even "Pray then" but I'm having a hard time hearing "Pray let." I Thought it was "pray there" and "there" being the "times of old." Anyone else?Pray let the minstrel be your guide.
Okay.T'was not allowed upon the ground
I must have listened to that line a million times as well, and each time I heard something different. "Wretched" makes about as much sense as "edger's," which is to say, absolutely none. Anyone?Upon her wretched royal throne.
Good eye and ear Dr. Dad! Thanks for the corrections and title.We have a title, thus -- "Minstrel Ditties" .... ....

Bear in mind that I haven't SEEN the ep yet... though it sounds like loads of fun... but could it be "rich and royal throne?" That at least would make sense. Although if she's lonely up there, "wretched" is also possible.
And you need to move your apostrophe. It's 'twas. The apostrophe goes in the place of the misssing letter. But you knew that. I'll shut up now. :{

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Have you heard the mp3, OE? I might give it another listen to see if you might be right about "rich and royal". Btw, you need one of the s's in "missing" to be doing just that in your last post.

Why, thank you! Oh, and it is "wretched", not "rich and royal". I'm still not hearing "Pray let the minstrel..", as Dr. Dad said it was. I agree with Dave. It sounds more like "Pray there the minstrel.." Of course, someone could Ask Al. Even if he didn't write the lyrics, he did sing them.

Yeah, after I finally listened to the MP3 on Dave's site (thanks Dave!) I thought so too. Al made a great minstrel, didn't he?algonacchick @ Nov 23 2003, 03:12 AM wrote: Oh, and it is "wretched", not "rich and royal".
