Yep, because it wasn't already out of date when he released (ugh) WYL.
Also, since when is 'Squirrel' one syllable?

I think it's copyrighted.

I asked that question after we got the MySpace teaser that Al was releasing a song that eventually became WYL. I forget what the answer was (if indeed there was one), because the thread
very quickly changed to people talking in Spanish and French for some stupid bloody reason.

Al pretty much rejected (And made light of) that idea last year.

Still would have been better than WYL.
Squirrel is one syllable, at least here in the U.S. by where I live. It's pronounced "squirl" rhymes with "girl" and "pearl". Not even sure how it would be pronounced as two syllables as it sounds weird to me however I try, "squir" and "rell"?

You people speak a language
very similar to English.

Well, yeah. Basically. Skwi-rell. Squi-rell. Squirrel.
Bizarre.

And then some blogger nobody's ever heard of tried to claim that Al got that totally unique and ingenious idea from him.

How do you think the squirrel feels about all this?
WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE RODENTS?

Anyway, moving on. I was thinking about how Al usually tries to release his albums on a month where the twenty-seventh lands on a Tuesday (or the closest tuesday to it.) Hopefully, he will release the rest of album 13 next year. I'd say its' a pretty safe bet considering half the album is already done. If that's the case, then my best bet for the release (after looking at the calendar on my phone) would be either April, July or September/October again.

Since he has seven more songs to record, I don't think April is terribly likely. July is a definite maybe...and it'd be interesting if he released a new album mid-tour, something he's never done before...
