Minus that "Pork and Beans" Weezer intro, "Skipper Dan" sounds exactly like Fountains of Wayne.

Not a funny song, and even the video wasn't particularly funny (dancing cellphones?), but then you could almost say the same about "Craigslist", I guess. More about the style parody than the jokes. But it's a good SONG in that it's catchy and sticks in your head...in a good way. I like it, but don't love it. Here's my IL rankings:

1. CNR
2. Craigslist
3. Whatever You Like
4. Skipper Dan
5. Ringtone

But it could grow on me. :-)

PS: I assume that's Rahm Emanuel on the far right of the Oval Office scene, but I don't get the joke about him wearing an eyepatch. I know he's missing a finger in real life, but not sure what the missing eye reference means. Anyone?

Can someone please list some of the harmonies, in note form, on some lyrics? Just curious.

Snap! We agree... Skipper Dan and WYL I like about equally though

Ringtone is a definite "grower" but I'm just not a fan of Queen. The lyrics are OK and I don't have a prob with one-joke songs.

It's just the whole choppy Queen "lets have a tempo/keychange unexpectedly twenty times just because we can" pretentious pomp-rock mish-mash that grates.. so yeah.. he has the style nailed superbly, but like I said, I'll get over it.
Ive heard the song about seven or eight times now and its likeability factor has definitely increased a thousandfold

Perez Hilton seems pretty excited about having a cameo in the video.

Well I don't know anything about US politics, but the eyepatch, to me, immediately struck me as a reference to the late Moshe Dayan... (conservative Israeli Zionist politician of the 1970s) make of that what you will

Re. Perez Hilton.. Why are people so dumb they cant even C-O-P-Y Al's name down right? Gahhhh!!
