Not to generalize, but I'm not surprised at all that there's not much of a demand for Weird Al concerts in Alabama and Mississippi.

For once, I'd like to see a show on the first leg of the tour, instead of the second. I almost went to the Pigeon Forge show in 2007, but I'm glad I didn't after hearing about what a bad venue it was.

For the last two tours before the SOL tour, Al's played Nashville. For the last tour, he played only Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. Two cities that are kind of close to each other. Personally, I find that a little unfair.
But he goes where he is asked to go.. Fair doesnt come into it. You need to be lobbying your local venues if you want to change things... and even then they will only book Al if they think they can make major $$$$$$ from it and as Jon says, thats more likely in some areas than in others. I accept Europe is never going to be viable for them without MAJOR financial speculation, I guess there may be areas of the US that are much the same

Al went to NC on the first leg for two shows, I think 3 or 4 during the 99-00 tour. I just hope it makes the 2010 tour.

I came up with a possible 2010 set-list that I think would work. Tell me what you think.

Eat It
Polka Medley
Virus Alert
Skipper Dan
Yoda
Wanna B Ur Lovr
New Album Parody
Craigslist
It's All About The Pentiums
Medley:
Opens with Couch Potato or MFN/BH, has WYL, Complicated, eBay, Gump somewhere in center, closes with Like A Surgeon
CNR
New Album Song
Amish Paradise
White & Nerdy
New Album Lead Single
Fat

Encore:
Harvey The Wonder Hamster
UHF

hmm...i like the idea of HTWH & UHF being preformed live, but I'd seriously rearrange the medley and everything before it...

Well I am from Mississippi and there are a couple of fans here. No way as big of a fan like me but there is some interest.

Right, but enough to fill an entire venue? I mean look, it has happened and I'm sure it'll happen again but I assume Al has a harder time filling up arenas in Montgomery and Jackson than he does in other areas of the country.

True,if he did come somewhere in Mississippi it would be Jackson. But I mean if a band like Guster can, then I don't see why Al can't.

What songs do you hope to comeback, hope to leave, or think will leave? I think Nirvana will go and I hope Eat It becomes full again and the new medley closer is Like A Surgeon.

I wonder if he will Tweet that he is "On stage in _________" and take a picture of the crowd.
