I loved Art History. Why aren't you connecting effectively to it?
Reminds me of an amusing anecdote...
In my intro to art history class, the midterm was a series of 3-4 essays. One of them was "Describe the characteristics and advancements in painting during the Renaissance." So, I wrote what I could in the time allotted and when I got it back the professor noted "be more specific."

Today my English class was given a free write, where we had to list all the communities we consider ourselves to be part of, and I listed WOWAY as one of them. Then we had to elaborate on one of them, and I chose WOWAY. Afterwards, our teacher assigned us a short reflection on that community, due tomorrow. I'll make sure to post it here after I'm done with it.

There are a lot of different groups and communities one could associate themselves with. One could choose their school or their workplace, as they spend most of their time there and are with their peers. One could choose their neighborhood, as it is where they live and know most of the people living there. Or they could associate themselves with the country that they live in. For me, I consider myself all of these. But there is one community in particular that I am proud to be a part of. It is one that I have been part for a few years, and plan on staying part of it for as far ahead as I can see. This community is the World Of Weird Al Yankovic Forum, or WOWAY, as it is called for short.
If one were to ask me how I felt about being a WOWAYer, I would say I love it. I always feel great while I am browsing it. The forum presents a strong sense of community and if I am ever feeling upset, I know I can always count on my friends on the forum to cheer me up and make me feel better. I love visiting the site, because I always have fun when I am on it. It feels like a true home away from home to me. The friends I have met on the forum are ones that I respect and have a great time talking to. We all really care about each other and are there for one another if the need shall arise.
All my friends and family support me in my membership of WOWAY. The only exception to this is my younger sister, but she does not support anything I do. My parents think that it is great how Ive found this community, and often ask me how certain members are doing and if anything special is going on at the time on the forum.
I love being a member of WOWAY. It has introduced me to a lot of friends that I would have never met had I not joined. If I were not a member of WOWAY, I would certainly be a much different person. Yes, some might say that a forum dedicated to Weird Al Yankovic does not sound like it would be a very fun place to be, but I can assure you that WOWAY is definitely a fun place to be and anyone who joins will feel at home and be welcomed.
