And a Chicago venue would be nice, too.

Aren't we all so greedy?

Dang! At about 1:30 Saturday I got on Ticketmaster for my tickets. According to the website, celeb circle was full. I managed to get Main Floor, Row R >< Argh!!! Oh well, I'm happy to be there regardless. I still need to order a SOL shirt, I didn't buy one when he came through before (he signed my old Poodle Hat shirt).

For future reference, what's the best way to get a good seat? Was I just too late? We're in the Star Plaza Theater club thing.

As someone said before, yes, there was a short meet and greet afterwards last time. It was probably about an hour after the show. The staff herded you along like cattle, very quickly past Al. Oh well, it was a great chance. I doubt it was planned. Al seemed very tired and the couple hundred people waiting outside is probably what made him decide to do it. Heh. I hope he does it again, I'd love to say more to him than some incoherent, Al-Struck babble. At least I communicated about signing my shirt! lol

Seems we have a few people going. I'd kinda like to meet some of my fellow WOWAYers (although I've been on hiatus for a long time)! Is there anything to wear to signify our membership? Or does anyone wanna group up for dinner somewhere? lol. I used to live nearby, so I know Merrillville fairly well.

PM or discuss here. We've got time to think!

Well, I'm glad that my suspicions were correct. After being screwed over with the ArtistArena pre-sale being late for the Star Plaza last year, I decided I would at least wait this year to see if it would happen again. I just hope that ArtistArena actually offers some good seats. Seems like they have been have their usual mess-ups (late presales, removing presales, replacing them later)....

I was able to get better seats through TicketMaster today, however, the Circle seats were only available via the VIP Package. I've already bought one, so I decided against that.

I did get the Main Floor, MF3, Row A, Seat 306. So, it's right behind circle, and also a lot closer than I have ever been at this venue. Should be a little different experience.

Yeah, I personally called up Ticket Master & asked for the best aisle seats in the MF Center sections. Those were apparently VIP seats, so I ended up with 2 tickets on the aisle bordering one of the center section on Section MF6, Row O. Meh, not too shabby-better than npothing, beter than an untouchable balcony seat... I figure if better seats open up when the show starts, mayhaps I'll sneak up. :lookaround:

I also asked abot the VIP tickets on TM-I could have gotten AA, center row...but my purse can't handle that- $215. Eeep.... Sorry, Al, but I need to get a REAL job if I want to see you in concert face-to-face. :D

yeah, they're kinda pricy, plus apparently, the whole vip thing isn't really worth it anyhow. I should quit saying I'm going to other shows because I spent well enough on this one. haha
