Thanks fellas, I appreciate it. I'm ready to put my rage face on this Friday. Pier 6 is a really cool venue.

"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"

Does anyone know if there's an opener or does he go on right at 7:30pm?

Al said himself that since his show is so long this time out, that it's "An Evening with Al". I like that. Sounds classy. So, no opener this tour.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Just got back, amazing concert, as al-ways.

I'll post back later with images and more!
Poor Peter Parker was pitiful... because he lost all his Al CD's.

Just got back from the concert...feet are tired from the walk back to the hotel, so I wouldn't have to park; great show, though.

Got to the venue a little early. Enjoyed the water and scenery around the venue, and I got to see Steve & Jim before the show, as they were going to and from the bus. I had to pick up my cousin's ticket at Will Call, and Laura(The Merchandise Girl from the 2007 leg) ran up to me. We talked for a long while, and it was really nice to see her again. And it was nice for a member of Al's previous crew to come running to me, but we had become such good friends at previous shows...it was just fun to always see a friendly face at all the dates I went to in 2007. She told me she decided not to do it again, because she couldn't put up with going into Canada anymore. Really nice to see her again.

Decided to head on into the concert area, Spaceballs was being shown on the video screen, so that was kind of interesting...after that went off, went back to hanging outside on the water, until closer to 8. I finally decided to go to my seat around 7:45, and see that Mary & her dad had moved over, so we could do our signs...there was an empty seat next to me for some reason, and then J and his people were there with their signs Mary had made. We talk for a while, and then about 8:30 the concert starts.

Everything went perfect in the concert, I believe, can't really think of any slips. Nice show, could take as many pics, as I wanted. However, didn't take very many...but, nice not to be bothered. I'll Sue Ya was nice, lots of money came my way...but I let other people get it....I was glad Mary got some, as she did not have any...I was gonna offer her some of mine, if she didn't get any at this show....

After the show, tried to wait outside beside the busses. Security made us move to many different spots, stayed with J pretty much...and eventually met up with Mike. Security was evil here, they wouldn't let you even stand on public property...acted like they owned the whole city of Baltimore. We continued to move to where we would still be in meet-n'-greet territory..but I guess we weren't..the bus just drove away without meeting...

Then, had the long walk back to the hotel here..but it was a really nice day, nice to be out on the water, and great Al show with friends...

"Rock On Al!!!"

Yeah, Im pretty sure I am sunburnt. I got to Baltimore around 3 and pretty much camped out across the water from the venue. I was probably 300 feet from the stage, but I could still see everything. I watched Steve and Jim tuning up and then I watched the sound check which was cool. I was snapping off pictures and Steve actually looked my way, and tapped Al on the shoulder and pointed my way. A few minutes later I made my way toward JBracciante and did my Rock Hall speech. Then I went inside as it was 530. Yeah, whoever said it was a 630 show, it was so not. It wasnt a 730 show either. It was barely an 830 show. But I had bought a book earlier, so I was reading up on Star Wars. Then I saw a familiar face, Nacy aka Albino Dwarf. I didnt know she was coming to this show at all. She said it was a last minute thing. And our seats ended up being next to each other, so we got to watch the show together. The show was perfect. Only thing was since we were on the water there was a breeze blowing toward the stage. So all the streamers and confetti went back at Al. And the CI streamers actually got hung up on the lighting rig, so during pretty much every costume change they were there with a pole trying to get it down. And it was especially funny during the Madonna interview, it seemed like she was looking at the streamers. I only took two pictures of the actual show. I decided to just sit back and enjoy, something I rarely do at Al concerts. Im usually so concerned with pictures that I tend to miss things. All in all it was a good night. No meet and greet, but I did get to say hi to Bermuda, and I showed him my tattoo. I'm a little sad my SOL tour chase is over, but I am ready for a new album and a different show.

Just got back from the show. (It's about 3Am now). I am leaving for Virginia for a week tomorrow morning at 6AM. As a result I won't get to post anything till next week. It was a great show though, Mike and Jeremy summed it up pretty well. By the way, My name is James. Just so I can be on a first name basis now.

Adios

Even I didn't know Nancy was gonna be there (I'm joining her for Columbus and Scranton). Glad you had a great time Mike. The Tattoo looks great.
