I've ALways said that AL writes all of my theme songs...
I used to consider "Fat" a song I could totally relate to
However, I have recently lost 45 lbs., so I guess that while I still "Eat It" too much and will never be an ectomorph, I no longer set off the Richter Scale when I go out to get the mail...
Like many of you here, I am nerdy in the extreme and whiter than sour cream, so "W&N" is an obvious choice, and regarding that, I'd just like to say.......PICARD!
But the one I relate to most, particularly since the brain surgery, is "Nobody Here But Us Frogs"...I don't know if I particularly get a THRILL being mentally ill, but if ever Al sang three words that described me even more than "white and nerdy," it would have to be "Eccentric and Demented!"
He sure does just get to the essence of us more precisely than anything else in our lives, doesn't he? That's the legacy of a truly great writer; he touches lives almost without trying. I'm one of several people in this forum who would currently be dead if not for Al, and I know that he's tickled pink knowing that he's had such an important role in so many lives. He's just so wonderful!!!
...but I digress...
