It seems you and Al have something in common.

Big hug to you Shelley. Hang in there!

That reminds me, last night while I was doing some cleaning and sifting through some old papers, I can across a draft of an old fan letter I wrote to Al about five or six years ago.... It was a hoot to read. It was really cheesy, but the message was sincere. He'd helped me through some rough spots as well. I'm glad he's got that effect on so many of us, here. Don't know what I'd do without him and the guys.

Well, the thing with Al is that he's not just a parodist with an awesome accoridon and voice, he's the greatest role model for every citizen in today's ever-growing nation. He will live on to be the Greatest Accordion Player in history....then to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Main Attraction....to President of the U.S.A. .... ;( YOU GO AL!!!!

I had almost this same experience last week. I got to watch part of an operation as part of my job, and as soon as they hooked the lady up to the monitor and it started beeping, I started humming LAS. Also when I was changing into my surgical scrubs, I did the "Hey" thing with my arms that Al does while riding the gurney in the video. Weird thing is, I wear scrubs every day, so I have no idea where it came from.

Oh yeah, Im thankful to Al for brightening up everybodys lives. Well at least ours.

Oh, and another thing I'm thankful about Al is that he is the one celebrity that doesn't get all political. I am SO horrendously thankful for that, because, well, we just don't need anyone else supporting slobs like Michael Moore.

Not that I think Al would, btw. ^_^ He seems too intelligent and too nice to support Moore.
