Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

It is a shame that it isn't advertised better because it is a great show. Along the lines of the Glasshouse & Good news week.

I was really pleased that Emily & Evan got to meet Al as it was looking really hopeless for a while, but out politeful persistance paid off. The show will be very interesting to see after the major edit needed to trim the 1 1/2+ hours of the bizarre ladies antics. It is such a shame we can't get the unedited copy as Al was very funny & gracious even when she encroached on his 'interview' & plugs.

I hope they keep the bit where they play a bit of White 'n' Nerdy & she jumps up & says something like ' oh it's only a hit because he used a really popular song'
& Al replies - very nicely - well thats my formula - I thought about using songs no one has heard of...... it got a really good laugh

After the show I found a few Al fans who had tickets to the Melbourne concert but don't know if it wa a coincidence that they were there or not, we might see them on WOWAY soon.

His secret's out now. Maybe he'll ask them to keep that part out of the final edit, so nobody steals his winning formula :P

They might cut it though because it was in response to that woman's antics.

Anyway, Adam Hills posted a MySpace bulletin today:

Hello all

The subject says it all I guess. Weird Al Yankovic makes an appearance on Spicks and Specks this Wednessday at 8.30pm. The show also features Ari Up of punk band The Slits, Dave O'neil and Peter Helliar.

It is one of the best shows we have done. Ever. I reckon.

Gotta say, I was very starstruck sitting next to Weird Al. He was one of the loveliest guests we have ever had on, and it was a pleasure working with him.

all the best

Adam

I have to tape it :(. Stupid college (Americans: dorm) meeting which all must attend will undoubtedly take up Spicks & Specks time.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash

I plan on taping it, for posterity more than anything else since I get home from work around 8pm. :)

I'll be at my uncle's place, but I'll be getting my parents to tape it for me

Well that was fun, it seemed so short though after seeing it being taped :(
I actually missed most of the first half though, so I'm going to have to borrow it from a friend and watch it.
