You know what this means? Al is better then Buddha and osmosis but less then sex. I always kinda figured that. I feel bad for the Buddhists.

The other day my hubby (world's greatest comedy scifi writer Ian Taylor) told me about Al being a featured Wikipedia entry, but my kids were being demanding, and I didn't get to read it (I figured they wouldn't mention anything I didn't know anyway.) The next day, Ian asked me if I'd read it. When I said no, he said, "I figured you hadn't, since I didn't hear you screaming hysterically." I asked what he meant, and he said, "well, there was one thing in there that made my blood run cold." I started to worry, as I've never even heard him use that expression.

Apparently, some cretin had added an edit saying that Al had DIED, and if the reader persisted in reading despite their blurry, tear-filled eyes, they might realize it was all a sick joke when they read the "cause of death" -- a "jet-pack accident during a benefit for narcoleptic weasels."

I don't know who thought that reporting our hero dead would be a fun joke, but if I ever find him, I'm going to plunge a pickle fork deep into his eye sockets...you know, as a joke. :stern:

Anyone here see that? wtf?
Praise AL!

I didn't see that. Some people are just morons. Did you edit it?

I haven't seen that, but that is just mean. No one should post things like that.

On one of my visits to Al's article, I noticed it had been protected. Recently, however, it's not.

And whoever did that edit should be forced to watch Eminem, Prince and Paris Hilton videos until their brain explodes! Then we'll get to the fun stuff!

It's an internet fad of sorts to say Weird Al is dead...it's appeared many times on imdb and elsewhere. I'm sick of it. <_<

I don't think it's really an internet fad, claiming that Al is dead. People do that for every celebrity. I don't feel like Al is being singled out on this one.

I don't even want to LOOK at that sentence. And I can only imagine Al's reaction.
