Saying that Al is just too sexy that he can't be shown?! I'm sorry, but that just seems like an outright lie to me, especially that she got to play her own video.

Well, I didn't quite take it the way you did, but they still should have played Al's video. I think she might have been somewhat sincere in her comments about Al, but she should not have gotten a choice between her crappy video or Al's. I think Al's hot, too, but not too hot for TRL, fercryinoutloud! I'm wondering if the TRL folks are getting angry emails. If a video makes it to the countdown, it should be shown every time.

I haven't seen TRL in quite a while, but reading that they didn't show Al's video when he was #5 makes me angry. That's just wrong.

Al was number 7 today. It will be a real shame if he peaked at 5 and they didnt show it.

Does anyone know offhand if TRL also drops videos after a certain amount of time, regardless of their chart position, a la VH1's countdown?

I believe they do so after 65 days on the countdown.

At least that's how it was when Carson Daly was running things. Who knows what these young punks do...

Shoot, that stinks. So we only have until about mid-December, which I guess is good to a point because then we'll have another video to stuff the ballots for.
