I forgot to warn you. I added a disclaimer.

I can't tell anything from it, but I agree with "Well,Well,Well" it took about 4 minutes to download a audio clip less then a second long. I think the part was just edited out at the last second, I don't think they re-recorded the entire song.

As Al has explained it, they actually had to physically cut out that portion from the song. I believe they were still recording on tape in '96. It's possible they were off by a second when they made the cut. I'm not sure where the cut was made though, so I have no idea where the song fell originally into the medley.

That could be where the edit was, but I don't think that was part of it, it is quite possible that was just a little transition they added, or whatever.
Personally, I think the whole polka goes together really smoothly.
I guess we'll never know.

Oh, OK. The snippet just sounded similar to a part in "Buddy Holly".

It sounds similar to anything, it's so short. I thought I heard some Jay-Z and the sound of pickle jar being open, now that you mention it.

I didn't even bother downloading it. Why didn't you just post it as an MP3?

I not that computer savvy.
If there is a way to do it on this site I will, just let me know.
Honestly, I hear "Buddy Holly", the accordion 'honk' sounds kinda link the guitar part that bridges the song after the "I don't care what they say about us anyway, I don't care about that" part. I swear it!

Actually, if it's just in the song, you could just tell as WHEN in the song, that part appears.
