QUOTE QUOTE recording dates now includes \"The Ballad Of Homer & Marge\" recording date (10/29/02)

Hmm, now it's gone.

Yes, curious. And to add to the mystery it's been replaced with something else.

Yeah, sorry, technically The Simpsons episode wasn't released in the same manner as everything else on the Recording Dates list. When it comes out on DVD (or whatever the format du jour is in several years,) I'll add it then.

But since I had to justify an update on 4/13, I figured it was time to give a little bit of info on the album's songs.

:oha: I wasn't hallucinating.

If that's the case, I believe you should also remove

QUOTE Feb 91 Patterns \"Square One\", PBS-TV (1991)

unless it's been released? (And if so, where!?)

This has probably been mentioned already, but Poodle Hat has been added to the Catalogue.

Hmm... he also removed "VHS (hard to find), Laserdisc (rare), and Beta (forget it!)" from "UHF" though I suppose that was probably done way back in June and I'm just noticing it now.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but since I got the initial info from The Mothership, I guess it could go here...

I wrote to the author of the Pets and Their Celebrities book that Bermuda posted.

I got an email back that I thought I would pass along:

QUOTE Hi,

It takes a while to put a book like this together. It will be sometime next

year. But, I also do a full page in a magazine called \"In Touch\" I will be

featuring Al within the next two weeks. Check it out if you can.

I sent an email back to him asking for more information on In Touch magazine. I also asked him about whether the pics were taken in a studio or at Casa De Yankovic. We'll get to the bottom of who the Yeti-hide belongs to.

Edited to add:

I got an email back. Christopher is very prompt! I hope everyone goes out and buys his book when it's ready. I know I will.

QUOTE The pictures are taken at their home.  As for the magazine it sold just about everywhere, it usually sits next to US Weekly.  You should be able to find it. Christopher

There you have it. There is a Yeti Yankovic. Kinda catchy. I'm thinking the white furry furniture may be a thing of the past once Nina gets ambulatory.

And I didn't even ask him for the address. Aren't you proud of me? :lookround:
