one at a church in fullerton,
Welcome aboard, crazed Al fan.
Maybe that was a listing of all lifetime concerts attended, not just the Weird Al ones. Or maybe Crazed Al Fan got confused, and mistook the Myron Floren performance last year at a church in Westminster for a Weird Al performance at a church in Fullerton. Hey, it's all accordion, it's all good.
Looks like another public-relations victory for Kevin, Cid and the Poodle Hat Bands.
Did a little surfing just now to make perfectly certain I hadn't missed a chance to bag another Al concert, albeit in sacred environs. Nope, not that I could find. Did find somebody else being billed as "God's Answer To Weird Al."

(I have a somewhat different idea of what God's answer to Weird Al will be someday)
Also found this info that at least one of Al's songs has been to church. How weird is that?

Welcome, George Newman. hehe! I got hit by the SLN water at my concert, too. I also got sang to. *sigh*. Sounds like you had a great time!

In the middle of the medley in the Poodle Hat tour Al sings The Theme from Rocky XIII (The Rye or the Kaiser) and the smoke starts flooding out, the lights start flashing and Al holds his accordian above his head sillouetted to look like a Rocky takeoff. I was laughing all the way through the rest of the song.

Is that when he did the Accordion Lift? What can I say? AIH.

I love that, too! I think my favorite concert moment is when you hear those first few bars of "Girlfriend is Better" before Al sings "Dog Eat Dog". In fact, the whole song is a favorite moment! I was so very impressed! Al, ya rocked the hisouse!

Mine would have to be when he walked down the isle and he looked right at me. The lady in front got his undies (lucky girl).
I loved Lasanga live. That would have been a good moment.
I love him in his red velvet jacket and also when he was playing the accordian and had his assistant hold his harmonica. For some reason i thought it was funny.
Oh and at one point he said hed like to introduce the band and introduced TBITB to each other.
And then in the Saga Begins I almost cried because everyone knew the words and we all loved him.
And last but not least, when al had a great big smile on his face at the end of the show. That was worth it.
Did he go for two hours for everyone else?

LOL! Yeah, they did that for Ode to a Superhero also and the guy rushed out and had the most serious look on his face like he had THE MOST important role in the entire concert!

At the Puyallup show, Al kept making eyes at Ed while he played. Then when they made eye contact they both looked away, all macho and stuff. It was pretty funny.
My favorite moment? The very first time I saw Al come on stage. I really couldn't believe it... There he was!! And so close. And so handsome...
Sigh. Good times, good times.

Ah, yes! Al walking out on stage was also a great moment for me, too! I remember some other cool things, like seeing him standing in the wings, ready to go onstage for Beverly Hillbillies/Money for Nothing. Dawn pointed him out to me. He was standing there, keytar in hand. *sigh*

I love the keytar. Does he actually play it? I can't remember...

I do remember the pretty sparkly jacket.
Oh, and when he comes out for Eat It, be-bopping across the stage in that red zipper jacket. I love that part.
