My favorite singer
Is Weird Al Yankovic
I really like him
But he makes some others sick
So to all those people
I just say yo mama
I think they're really mad
Cause he parodied off Madonna

I know, its not great, but i'm not really a poet.

Here we go again (what can I say; Al inspires me!):

Ode to Al 4

Let’s name a few reasons why Al is the best
He’s worked for 28 years with hardly a rest
He’s devoted to helping us fans all feel funny
His personality is so bright and sunny.
Al played accordion before it was cool
He takes all other comedy rockers to school

Al is the leader of the world’s greatest band
His album releases are always well-planned
He looks so adorable in Hawaiian shirts and Vans
And with Bermuda’s help, he stays close to his fans
His fans range from oldies to kids of age one
And we fans can be proud of every last thing he’s done

He’s the one dude in rock who has got real integrity
And on tour, his live performances are quite legend’ry.
The shows can be described as multimedia
(Al’s brain can be described as an encyclopedia!)

He’s incredibly sexy; some folks don’t realize—
They should get a good look at that smile and those eyes!
The way he dances on stage makes the girls squirm and squeal
He’s a perfect example of true sex appeal

He’s given many of his fans a reason to live
He gives ‘til you think he’d have no more to give
When it comes to composing, he’s really a whiz
I’d vote Al for ‘hardest-working man in show biz.’

He wrote “One More Minute,” and the whole world laughed
Though it’s comedy, he’s serious about his craft
He makes better videos than any current band
And the very best comedy CDs in the land

Turn his music up high, ‘cause Al can never be too loud
And I’ll bet he makes Doctor Demento so proud!

Ode to Al 5

I guess I’m your basic obsessed female fan
I hope you wouldn’t think that’s too scary
If I had to say how important you are to me, Al
The first word I’d use would be “very.”

Your songs have sustained me in my darkest times
I enjoy so your music, your jokes, and your rhymes
I gaze at your face, and you look like a dream
It’s hard to believe you’re as sweet as you seem

But the one time I met you, you just were so nice
(Imagine how I’d feel if I’d met you twice!)
Since that time I’ve been dreaming of you night and day
And will ‘til they take my dreaming privilege away!

Make the world laugh, Al, you have such a knack
You’ve got super talent your “competitors” lack
And we’ll always be here to appreciate you
And the special hilarious things that you do.
In your long repertoire, there is not one thing missin’.
And I guarantee always that we fans will listen.
If you live to be a million, yes, we will be here.
You can’t imagine how deeply we all hold you dear.
