:P to SNL

Anyway... well... we kinda lost our train of thought...

I think we've really covered this interview. We've said it's terrible, mean spirited, but showed Al is a good sport anyway. We even talked about decapitating Jay Levey (why would we want to?)!

I'm out of ideas. :sleepy:

What was this topic about at first...........ummmm.......ummmmm............ oh yeah it was about the commies wow we got totally off topic oh welll it fun when we got off topic on theese kind of things. Do you want to hear a story that is very very totally of the topic of weird al in general I just have to get it out and tell someone

Well yesterday around 5:30 pm my best friend called me and told me that Ozzy Osbourne died i didn't believe her at first and then she told me to turn on the radio. There they were talking about it. The death of Ozzy. This went on for hours. People were calling into the station crying and asking what happened and requesting their favorite Ozzy song. Then when another guy called he asked him if it was really true and the guy on the radio said no he isn't. They thought so at first because they read the paper wrong. Well this got a lot of people really poed. People were calling in andd cussing at the guy. And then he would say who would ever sperad a nasty rumor like that. The hole time my dad knew about this knid of thing and when I told him that Ozzy was still alive my dad said told ya so. And then just to be funny later on he said hey samanthat the radio just said that weird al died. well after that i told him to shut up. and i said if that is ever true I will go into a great depression

You really should not post OT in here. You don't want to wake up Mama Bear! Did you or did you not watch the Commies? That would bring things back on topic. I didn't. And I won't even if they re-air the show.

I watched the Commies mainly because of Andy Richter being the host... I really enjoy that guy.

I didn't watch the Commies, BTW. Anyway, who cares if Al didn't win an award given by CC? He could get the big prize on February 8th (and no, it's not a 1st class, one way ticket to Albuquerque...).

I think that whole Al commercial thing was just a joke. And no offense people, I like Al just as much as the next guy, but it seems like everyone here gets just a wee bit too upset over people making little jokes at Al's expense. They're all comedians. They make fun of people. It's just what they do!

True, but people here were really upset over the fact Al was grouped with has-beens, while Al is still active and performing.

The Commies? never heard about them, but the title is pretty funny by itself. Reminds me of something. :P
Well, duh... Everytime when those kinda things appear, I think: Gosh, through his entire 20-year career, how many people were bashing, threatening, hating Al? Countless I think. One day, he might drop this all and say: "Life's a piece of s***! I can't stand it anymore!". But he didn't; and that's probably one of the best things he's ever done - doing excellent stuff and keeping us happy! Duh, where did I suppose to be if there wasn't Al? Hard to say. So, in my opinion that Commie show was by far the easy one.
But... Tell me folks, am I the only one who see Al as a little bit more than just a parodist? Seems to me that such songs as Hardware Store had grown him up to another height.

So there is still a little revolutionary left in you, Seva.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. If you mean he has the ability to make really good original comedy songs, I'm with you 100%.

Well, there's also the fact he's now a husband, father, and also decided to open Ask Al again.

(Just kidding about the last one, Al. You're still the man either way.)
