and it has the picture section with Al's "Prince" outfit on it.....

you'd think someone as seemingly intelligent as Prince would have a sense of humor, but I guess not, he's too busy trying to be "mysterious"....

Someone said (sry, i forget who) that this is like Such A Groovy Guy...

I disagree... that song, imo, sounded better, and i thought the lyrics were funnier too. And i dunno, the style parodies don't really do anything for my unless they're of a style i don't DESPISE or something... for instance, i love Trigger Happy. Great song.

And as far as the other Prince thing, eh, I think it's enuff that Al bashes Eminem and the Fench... I don't really care too much about Prince. :P

Al's been making fun of prince for quite a few years now... it's a tradition.

Scotti's comment regarding Al's parody of Prince...

yeah, someone needs to tell Prince to get a sense of humor, the guy is extremely talented, but WAY too serious about himself... most artists think it's flattering to have Al parody them...

btw, has Michael Jackson ever said anything about Al's parodies? If he has, I've never read it, after all, who's Al parodied more than Michael???

WAY TO GO AL, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, AND I HOPE TO MEET YOU SOMEDAY....

Well, he invited Al to make a cameo appearance in one of his videos, so that's probably a good sign that he's cool with Al's parodies.

Also, he asked Al to open for him during his Europena tour. Al was doing UHF though. The interview in theforce.net said that Mike had always been supportive of Al.

I still fail to see the Prince in this song. It sound entriley too much like Beck for me to give in to the idea that the song is a Prince style parady.

Well, the fact that there are two MJ parodies, and nearly a third says to me that he must be ok with it. You know, as odd as Michael is, he clearly has a sense of humor about himself. His cameo in MIB2 was one of the funniest things in the movie.

There was that whole thing about him wanting Al to come and be in one or more of his shows with him as an opening act or otherwise must indicate MJ really liked Al's stuff. If you didn't know, Al couldn't go due to the fact that he was in the middle of making UHF at the time.
