The line about Al's character in this sharing his birthday with Kim Kardashian led me to check and see if they actually do share the same birthday... While they don't, their birthdays are a few days apart (Al's on the 23rd, Kim's on the 21st).
Not sure if Al really cared whether that was correct or not, but if he did, the best way he could have found out what celebrities he shares his birthday with would be to check the All Things Yankovic "This Day in Al History" section on his birthday (well, assuming those he shares his birthday with have some connections that justify their birth being mentioned there).

Nothing else in the song is autobiographical (as far as we know!), so why would we expect otherwise for that one line? I think the point was to include a Kim Kardashian reference, who has a pretty Lame Claim To Fame herself...

As a long time SCOTS fan, this song makes me very happy on so many levels. Hopefully there will be a good number of people who "discover" them because of this song. For anyone who doesn't know much about the band, check them out. Their songs/albums are a lot of fun and their live shows are even better.

This is the song that really grew on me. Not that I disliked it in the first place, but now I enjoy it much more
