I'm reading up on that thread and trying to figure it out myself.
Perhaps Jim gave the idea to Al? Or did Jim loose a bet?
Minks and weasels. Very similar looking creatures.
Harvey tossing, weasel stomping. Makes sense to the demented.
Which day do I celebrate? Same as album release?
What are the traditional activities, aside from the obvious?
PETA vs Al. Love to see that.
algonacchick wrote: He has three cds out, and none have that title. So, it's still a mystery about this so-called Al song. The description for this episode of Robot Chicken makes it sound like Al had already written the song a while ago.

Quote weirdal.com, (news section)
"Al has finished recording and mixing eleven songs for his new album. Does this mean the album is done? Honestly, we have no idea. We'll let you know as soon as we figure it out."

I'd say so far they've figured out something.

Well, has "Robot Chicken" ever used a new song by a known artist to create a video? I don't watch the show (IMO "ToyFare" magazine ruined the novelty of watching old Mego figures act obscene), so I don't know how authentic they are when they use celebrities in gags.

Maybe we'll find out more once it's nearer to the airdate. I reserve the right to be skeptical about this.

Robot Chicken has parodied DMX's "Get it on the floor" in the Voltron
dance sketch, and that's had me ROFL, but that's all I've noticed of
"new song, known artists" breaking premieres on RC.

I've read a review (somewhere) that also notices that comparison. I find myself on the opposite side of the coin. I've never seen/heard of TF due to the cave I've been living in. Like a baby duck, I've managed to latch upon RC first.

I've only learned about "Domokun" last month. How old is that thing now?!?
I wonder what other wonders this "Internet" thing might lead me to.

Even though these will be posted up on the TV listings over on All Things Yankovic later today, I'm feeling a lil' generous right now so I'll pass along some upcoming alerts here.

For those of you with the Biography Channel, Al will be seen throughout Florence Henderson's episode of (well, what else?) "Biography" on May 9 at 8PM (EST) and again on May 10 at midnight (which is essentially later that same night).

And the Sci-Fi Channel will again be spinning Al's episode of "Amazing Stories" on the 17th at 2:30PM.

Set your timers!

According to this site, the "Stars and their Pets: Behind the Lens" documentary will air on Animal Planet again on July 4th 9am. As I recall, Al's segment is about 47 minutes in, immediately following John O'Hurley.

If anyone missed the episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Editition (or who wanna see the episode again) Al's episode airs July 9th!!! Check the link for the time... It says 7 PM, but since I'm in Central, USA, I'm guessing 8 PM is Eastern? Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong. :)

And what's interesting about this is the network's "Secret Stash" airings of programs are always uncut, so that should mean all of the silly little violent gags should be present this time.
